Episode 19 – Sheena Grobb: A Song Of Healing

We all were excited to have a chance to sit and chat with the beautiful songbird, Sheena Grobb, as we all have experienced just how moving and relatable her music can be.

Sheena was definitely gifted the ability to not only sing, but to write, and not just to write, but to write emotions. To capture the raw, the beautiful, and the life changing moments and weave them into something that captures your heart.

Very near & dear to our co-host Alison’s heart, is the Transplant Manitoba annual “Tree of Life” Event where Sheena shares songs written by the families most affected by organ donation. Visithttp://www.transplantmanitoba.ca/about/tree for more information.

Sheena’s  third album, “The Breakless Heart” was recently released and you can not only purchase on her website here, but she also shares the lyrics so you can really let those words sink in!

Finally, we are planning an exciting songwriting workshop with Sheena for Wednesday, July 3rd from 7-9:00 PM.  We will be putting all the info and a link to purchase your seat, on our calendar of events.  We do plan to keep this an intimate sized group, so only 12 seats available, so be sure to grab your seat fast! We will also add people to a waiting list for a potential 2nd workshop if you don’t get a spot.  This workshop, as you will hear us talk about in the episode, is writing a song together but it is also about giving you the tools to learn to release your emotions through written word.

We hope you tune in to listen as we talk with  Sheena about her songwriting journey and how it melded into a career that is helping others heal.
