Generation Green’s Wildflower Project

We’ve been sharing some hints about our new project, and we’re finally able to release some information about this latest venture of ours:

Generation Green’s Wildflower Project – Launching January 2019

This has really become a passion project and we are so excited to get started! That being said, there are going to be different elements to this project, and as much as we would like to do them all at once – we need to do it slowly so they turn out as amazing as we have dreamed they’ll be! Now without further delay, we’re ready to begin phase one!

First, let me start off by telling you exactly what Generation Green’s Wildflower Project is all about…

Connect · Grow · Bloom

These 3 words are the foundation to this project.

The need to connect as humans, to grow through lifelong learning, and when we do both those things, we bloom!

When I opened Generation Green 6 years ago, the intention really was to help people. Having an administrative background, I wasn’t really sure how to “sell” but I knew what I liked and what I was needing as a consumer and I genuinely care about the wellbeing of other people so naturally wanted to share what I was learning.

As the opening of Generation Green unfolded, I was meeting so many amazing people with knowledge in many different areas such as holistic wellness, herbalism, waste free living & starting movements to name a few,  and I really wanted to connect more with them in order to continue learning!  I also loved getting to know so many customers who were all at different places in their natural living journeys. These customers either had so much information themselves to share or were eager to learn more. I started thinking about ways I could help all these different, beautiful people connect, so we could all learn and grow together…and Viola! The idea for the Wildflower Project began!

The Wildflower Project begins with connecting our journeys by starting conversations. Conversations about all the different life stuff we’re dealing with at so many different levels. We are going to do this via a Wildflower Project podcast! We believe you will appreciate our honest, uncensored, and unscripted discussions that we hope you can all connect with.

For the podcast, we at times will start a conversation on a specific topic (and attempt to stay on topic), we then are going to find experts or other amazing people who we can learn from and who can enlighten us more on said topic.

Finally, we want to invite you to have a seat at our table to continue the conversation with us and others.  Our table discussions will be interactive, at times hands on, but always a place of acceptance. All this in an effort of building a community that grows together on this journey called life.

If you are in Winnipeg, where we are located, you will be welcome and able to purchase a seat at the table for any conversation/workshop being led by our featured expert that is of interest to you.

The podcast episodes and then meetup/workshop dates will be posted here on our website as well on Wildflower Project’s Instagram account here. Of course our monthly newsletter will have details as well so be sure to subscribe so you don’t miss any of them!  Stay tuned for our first episode!!

I invite you now to follow along as we continue to unfold this project and like all those wildflowers to be, let’s see where the wind blows us!
